The candle is strong ...

It appears that the candle is of much concern to the Malaysian Police Force ... as there is a possibility that irresponsible use of it while walking harmoniously in a group could lead to massive fires and burning structures within the KL city center.

This must be the reason why 16 people including former ISA detainee P. Uthaya Kumar and his wife, and S. Jeyathas from Police Watch Malaysia, have been arrested for holding a candlelight vigil at Dataran Merdeka on the ‘’cow’s head protest’’ controversy, Saturday. Catch the video from Star Online here.

However, a group shouting profanities and insulting religion (Hinduism and Buddhism) by bringing along a cow's head are allowed to escape without any punishment. they are some similarities between the two groups ... They are Malaysians - They are reps of political parties They marched - They were captured on camera - and yet, one group gets arrested and the other ... get's fuck all!!

We wonder who the police are working for!!

If there were Pakatan Rakyat reps involved - arrest them!
If there were BN reps involved - arrest them.
If they were residents participating in an illegal demonstration - arrest them!

Dear Mr.Police Chief ... for God's sake, do fucking something! You have shown us your true spine (oxymoron here I think, as you have none!).

This is a sad day in Malaysia when the Police and the powers that be (the Ministers, Royalty, etc.) simply turn a blind eye.

BTW, are the people really beginning to question the Pakatan ruling party ... I am not too sure! PKZ, Khir Toyo, Zakaria ... they are there to remind us what used to be!!!

Who's the cow now?

From the Malaysian Insider online ...

PUTRAJAYA, Sept 2 – The Home Minister today defended and justified last Friday's cow-head demonstration after meeting with Malay-Muslim representatives of Shah Alam's Section 23 at his office here today. Get the full story here.

You are the Home Minster of the country - a man to ensure stability within the nation. A man that has to weed out undesirable elements and ensure the safety of the nation. What the fuck are you trying to do?

Meanwhile, from the Malaysian Insider again ...
Selangor Pakatan Rakyat leader Xavier Jayakumar demanded Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein to be sacked or step down from the Cabinet after the home minister appeared to favour those linked to last week’s cow-head protest. Here's the full story.

In the article, Jayakumar says that Hishammuddin had in the past “waved his keris inciting bloodshed, supported the arrest of lawyers who went to defend those detained by the police, arrested 580 people (this is a record) for standing up for their rights to protest against the ISA and now defends a group who is prepared to bring about racial unrest and bloodshed”.

I find the whole issue appalling ... with the police not taking immediate action, the AG taking his time and then there is the possibility that this may not be a Seditious Act.

WTF is wrong with you guys? Do you really want to see the demise of the party and the re-election of the Opposition during the next General Elections?

One thing is for certain ... you are moving in the right direction.
Bon Voyage :)
