Datuk Seri Dr Mohd Khir Toyo ... You just gotta love this guy!!!

I enclosed an excerpt from the Star (online) regarding the suspension of former Selangor mentri besar Datuk Seri Dr Mohd Khir Toyo from the state assembly without privileges ...

The four were also found guilty of attacking the Selcat in the media.

“The Selangor state government professes to champion freedom of expression but yet stifles dissent. The four assemblymen had merely said that the Selcat inquiry should have been held behind closed doors,” Dr Mohd Khir said.

He said stifling criticism was akin to killing democracy in the state.

“By suspending the four and depriving them of their freedom of expression, the Selangor government has proven itself to be worse than the Internal Security Act,” he claimed.

This., ladies and gentlemen, has certainly got to be one of the the most shocking, mind-boggling and utterly idiotic responses from the state's former MB. Mind you, this is just my opinion!

Meanwhile the online site also revealed this story ... An MP and an assemblyman were among 11 people arrested following a candlelight vigil here calling for the dissolution of the Perak state assembly.

So it is safe to say that being part of a candle-light vigil to champion democracy" is against the law, but going on state funded family trips overseas and building mansions (castles) with public funds does not deserve any police investigation or imprisonment.

Mana boleh tuan ... !!!

If this were in America ... Jay Leno's monologue would last an entire 60-minutes and there would be no need for guests to be part of the show. It would be that funny!!

1-Malaysia ... tak ada leh!

The 1 Malaysia policy as advocated by the Prime Minister is to ensure that every Malaysian has equal rights - to be treated fairly in all aspects.

This policy has just gone out the window with the Perak MB situation and the Malaysian judiciary.
Zam wants a "stay of execution" and he gets it within a few hours ... Niz wants "a stay of the stay" and he might get it ... only after waiting a few DAYS!

And this is a situation of 2 people from the same race ... macam mana lah 1-Malaysia.

Oooops!! Tersilap lah :)

How silly was I to actually think that it was momentarily over and the people would actually have a final say in who should govern the state!

It is definitely going to be more difficult for the "Opposition " (i.e. PR) now ... they are after all, going up against a man who identifies with the trials and tribulations of Nelson Mandela, Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Luther King.

Image campaigning against a trio like this ... all rolled into one. Kalah-lah Nizar :)

BTW ... pick the clown of the Silver State - guaranteed to entertain for a lifetime if he finally gets to hold down MB post for Perak.

Nizar - Silver State MB

It's all over the websites ... the Malaysian High Court has ruled that Datuk Nizar Jamaluddin isthe legitimate Menteri Besar of Perak.

Now what for the people of the Silver State? More dragging of people out of the House (chaotic but absolutely hilarious scenes), dissolution of government and off to the polls, or JV with BN?

It is now that the rest of the country sits back and enjoys the fireworks!

The day the music died

It is a sad day in the history of Malaysian politics - a day when a state is divided and a day when men behave like children. The parents of these children should bear the responsibility for their up-bringing ... they should be charged in court for delivering into this world ill-mannered and disruptive human beings. Let us all lodge police reports ... after all, this appears to be a trend today.

It is because of the many, many "anal" reports that the police force is hard-pressed to fight crime on the streets (i.e. Mat Rempits, snatch thefts, drugs, illegal immigrants, break-ins, corruption, etc.). The police are too busy looking into these reports, and it is the amount of paper work that's keeping them at the desks and not on the street where they should be!!

Anyways ..... the proceedings at Perak State Assembly has left a bitter taste in one's mouth - when power-crazed men and women who are leaders of a state (and possibly future leaders of the nation) act out a drama of "Mine ... Not Yours!" (or the local version of "Gua punya ... bukan Lu Punya").

There are so many things wrong ... you cannot wear black, you cannot be opinionated, you cannot cross "this" line, YOU cannot come here - and doing any of these "tidak bolehs" will lead to one destination ... the cool rooms of a cell.

In the current economic downturn, ideas must be generated to assist the public from up-coming hardships. The decision makers of Perak State should sincerely get their act together and figure out what the people want ... don't always assume you know what they want.

The people spoke and you ignored their freedom to speak - to choose - to determine what they want. You ripped it right out ... albeit with some help to a few turncoats! Well, there is only one way for you to find out ... and that is through a survey - one that is called "Election".

In the land of BOLEH, it is a crying shame that there are banyak "TAK BOLEHs".

It is truly a day when the music has stopped playing for the Malaysian public - a day when democracy has been thrown out the windows and into those large desolate pools of water that now litter this once-rich mining town of the country.

The tin has gone and so has the music.
