The "Niu" Silver State.

The Year of the Ox has certainly brought some changes to the political climate in the Silver State of Malaysia. The once prosperous tin-mining state is now devoid of leadership - as the recently elected state government comes to terms with defections of their "friends, pals, comrades, kaki" to the opposition camp.

Step back a sec and consider this ... What do you do when you elect a representative? Do you vote for the party ... the candidate ... his principles ... what?

DSAI and the loosely assembled PKR promoted the "jumping the band-wagon scenario", and it has now bitten them big in the posterior.

On a separate note, I've been waiting patiently during CNY for the first loud fire cracker to give the OX a good kick up the ... (go figure!), and this new development in the state where I was born is in fact, that firecracker!

How and why does a person change camps? What made them do it ... disillusionment with the party or could it be something else? Who gains? Who benefits? Elected reps should be asking the question ... am I actually contributing towards the welfare of the state?

If you answer Yes to these questions, go ahead and support these "lalang" who have taken the people of Perak for a ride.

The answer my friend is blowing in the wind ... sway with the wind and you will forever be wealthy - although there is much to differ on healthy and wise elements of this adage.

I sincerely believe that if an elected rep of the State Government cannot stand the heat, then it is time to get out of the kitchen ... that means totally removing yourself from politics until the next general election. Then, champion yourself as a person who upkeep's his/her principles, morals, ethics, etc and and now face the new horizon without have to bend over backwards to accommodate the party.

Don't jump into another bed because yours is a bit lumpy ... change the mattress, the bed, the sheets. At least you are still in your own home - and not in a position to be kicked out.

Would I trust you? Not in a million years. Anyway, I think I have finally found the reason to place a kick within the OX's anatomy.

GXFC!!!!!!!!!!!!!
